Lotus lab is my personal platform for exploring and showcasing my hands-on engineering projects. My core passion is in design and fabrication, where I do mechanical design, prototyping, and manufacturing. At the same time, I'm actively expanding my skills in robotics, learning both electronics and software development to build more integrated systems.
Designed and initiated fabrication of an upgradable 1:10 scale RC car built entirely from sratch, utilizing 3D-printed and laser-cut components. Completed the design and functional testing of a custom gearbox with a 4:1 gear reduction ratio.
Designed a lightweight drone under the 250 gram regulatory limit, focusing on structural integrity and weight optimization. Created CAD models and prepared for manufacturing.
This project features a self-balancing beam system controlled by PID controller. The goal is to keep a ball stable at a target position along a beam by adjusting the beam angle in real time.
Conceptualized and modeled a CNC 2D plotter in SOLIDWORKS, designed to be controlled by an Arduino UNO and operate based on G-code provided by user, Detailed the mechanical framework, motion components, and assembly layour for potential future fabrication.
