I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at UC San Diego (Class of 2027), with a strong interest in mechanical design, manufacturing, and robotics. I enjoy building functional systems, solving engineering challenges, and working hands-on to turn ideas into real-world solutions.
Highlighted projects showcasing thoughtful mechanical design, fabrication, and functional prototyping.
This project explores an active thermal management system for the Yonder Dynamics rover Science Module using a thermoelectric (Peltier) module coupled with a closed-loop liquid cooling circuit. The objective is to maintain chemical-based assays at room temperature to optimize their performance.
Designed and prototyped a compact peristaltic pump for rover science applications, enabling open-loop microliter-scale fluid dosing. Optimized roller configuration, tubing geometry, and stepper-motor control using theoretical volumetric modeling.
Designed and built a PID-controlled balancing beam system from scratch using Arduino, ultrasonic sensor, and servo motor to regulate ball position in real time via closed-loop feedback control
